Description:
A bull moose crossing the backwater of Lower Sabao Lake, Maine. In the early morning hours when the mist still blankets the water, I can often be found in my kayak, waiting patiently for one of the resident moose to make an appearance. More often than not, the moose are feeding at another location on the lake, a mile or so away. It's all in the timing, sometimes Mother Nature cooperates by providing me with something special, while at other times she has the last laugh. What a fickle old girl she is.
